The effects of using technology in the process of learning English as a foreign language.


What is educational Technology? 

It is defined as a development, application and evaluation of systems, techniques and aids to improve the efficiency of the process of human learning


The use of technology in the educational space allows the use of more interactive tools and that keep students' attention more easily. In addition it helps children and adolescents develop critical thinking in a time when their brains are developing.



REASONS TODAY’S STUDENTS NEED TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM

➤Communication
Technology allows students to demonstrate independence
Technology enables students to build strong content knowledge wherever they find it.
 Technology deepens learning by using resources students are interested in.




ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES 





The use of Technology in a classroom setting not only benefits teachers and students but it also has great effects; it prepares students for the future. 













GROUP # 2


Methods and strategies that teachers need to use in large classes in Blended Learning Flexible Modality at Centro Escolar José María Cáceres. 




Blended learning is a powerful strategy that increase performance or learning results.
Making the best selection of method  will greatly enhance these results.
For example, choices which include learning, classroom (live or virtual), workshops, websites, job aids, simulations, books (hard copy or virtual) and many other choices.





It is important to reduce the size of classrooms and students, among fewer students in a classroom will be better the learning


A class size of no more than 18 students per teacher is required to produce the greatest benefits

➤Smaller class sizes can increase the attendance rates.

➤Also it reduce noise and behaviors problems.

Another benefit to reducing class size is the corresponding reduction of distractions.

The Teacher presented an important video about "TEACHING ENGLISH WITHOUT TEACHING ENGLISH"


In this videos, the professor discuss about three phases in wich he uses to teach English without teaching English.

At the begining Mr.Guzman felt frustration with himself and his students, Because his students were not learning well, they did it just for passing the exams.
